It’s time to wake up that hero within and build some more confidence!
Spring is in the air, and it’s a perfect time to reenergize. One of my favorite times of the year is spring! I don’t know about you, but most people I talk with are ready for a change when spring arrives.
That change is more than just warmer weather! It’s feeling reenergized! I like spring as it represents a time of new growth, new endeavors and new beginnings. Wouldn’t you agree?
So why not awaken that hero within you by investing in your image? Why not expand your comfort zone? Usually when I suggest this, people immediately have two objections, time and money. I’ll address both of those in just a minute. First, I hope you know that YOU are your biggest asset and YOU are worth any investment! Your image, skills, and personal development are all vitally important to your success.
Here are 5 reasons why investing in your image is a must!
1) When you take time for yourself, you are filling your cup and naturally will feel better. When we feel better, we are nicer and capable of doing more because we’re energized.
2) It SAVES you time. How many times have you stood in front of a closet full of clothes and muttered the words “I don’t have anything to wear”? When you know without a doubt what your best is, you won’t have a closet full of clothes that leave you feeling discouraged.
3) Investing in your image saves you money. Have you made a purchase only to realize you don’t have anything to coordinate? Perhaps something you didn’t try on and when you got it home it just didn’t look like you thought it would? Sure, you may be able to return it, but time is money.
4) Reduce stress, negative self-talk and hush that inner critic. Let’s be honest, when you look in the mirror, what do you say to yourself? If it’s not “Hello gorgeous,” or “I look beautiful,” or something positive, then it’s time to take action!
5) And last but not least, you will be more confident! When you are feeling confident you open the door to new possibilities and opportunities! Your image matters, not because of what people think, but because of how it makes you feel.
