Columnist: Fred Altvater

Fred AltvaterBack 9 Media Group is a brand of AFP Marketing LLC, a family owned business, incorporated in 2006. Fred Altvater heads up the Back 9 Media Group brand and is a member of both the Golf Writers Association of America and the International Network of Golf.

He has had articles published by Golf Digest, Bleacher Report and The Toledo Free Press. Here’s his article on GolfDigest.com about Michigan High School Golf that was inspired by his Grandson’s experience on the golf team in Cadillac, MI in the spring of 2018.

In 2015 he began publishing the Ohio Golf Journal and in 2018, partnered with Tom Lang to begin publishing the Michigan Golf Journal. His radio show began in 2015 and his Roku TV was started in 2017.
