Create Your Best Wardrobe

Have you ever asked yourself, “If money or time were never an issue, what would my wardrobe look like?”  What if I asked you what is the oldest piece of clothing in your closet, what would your answer be?

Funny thing is that most of my clients don’t want me to see their closet.  They’re embarrassed by the lack of organization, mismatch, clutter, or the sheer quantity of their clothes. Most women will say or think I better go through it first before I have Lynnette in.  They seem to be under the impression that because this is what I do, my closet must always look great.  The truth is, it’s not always the way I want it to be. Just ask my husband!  But, what I do have are pieces that make me feel confident and comfortable. And I want that for you too!  You deserve that!  You are uniquely beautiful and you just need to know how to create your unique image. Once you do that your inner beauty shines.

But let’s face it, the problem isn’t your closet, lack of money, time, space or organizational skills.  Most of the time, the real problem is that you’ve accumulated a lot things over the years and you’re still not 100% sure what makes you look and feel fabulous.  Or, maybe you’ve had a game changer, like motherhood, a new career, a life transforming event or it’s just a new decade. Whatever the case, you’re not sure what works now.

Remember I asked you what is the oldest piece of clothing in your closet?  This may be an indicator that it’s time to reassess what’s hiding in your closet. Certainly, there are some classic pieces that are definitely worth keeping, but are yours?

The most critical tip for learning what works for you, is understanding yourself! You can’t change what you don’t know. So identify your uniqueness, your body type, coloring, and most importantly your LIFEStyle™. When you understand yourself, then you have a strong foundation and clear guidelines for building a wardrobe that works uniquely for you.  It becomes easy to release items hiding in your closet that might have been a buying mistake, a gift, or something you just can’t part with because it’s in really good condition or you paid good money for it.  When you understand that most often we innately know what is working or not just by acknowledging how we feel when we put it on.  So if there is something hiding in your closet that makes you feel frumpy, or discouraged, it’s okay, let go of it!

I would love to help you on your journey.  You can also visit uniquely your image.com and take my quiz to help you determine your LIFEStyle and while you’re there, be sure to send me a message I would love to hear from you. Learn your foundation and live life confident!
