Sedona Inspiration

As I write this, I’m packing up to leave Sedona, AZ after a week of bliss here. It’s so beautiful, that the minute we entered the area, I already felt uplifted. Almost choked up – and it’s not even my first time here. Their promotional materials say: Sedona has long been regarded as a place both sacred and powerful. It is a cathedral without walls. I couldn’t agree more.

SedonaI love the idea of the vortexes. We were told to look for the Juniper trees with severely twisted trunks and branches (like in our picture shown here)—an effect attributed to the vortex energy. There is no way to know if it’s really true that there are “energy vortexes” here, but regardless, when my husband and I went hiking here, and stopped to meditate among the beautiful rocks and twisted Junipers, our hearts felt lighter, our attitudes felt brighter and we felt more energized.

Now, it’s up to us to carry this inspiration back to our daily lives. To remember our experiences every day and choose to be in the state of flow that we felt while here in Sedona. I believe it’s a choice we can make…we don’t have to be physically here to experience the feeling…we just have to remember and allow ourselves to feel it.

However, I want to come back and soon! Who wants to go on a women’s intentional business planning retreat here in Sedona this fall? Let me know and Megan Patton and I will organize it.

Have a great month and enjoy the articles in this edition of Soar to Success magazine.
