The Energy System

What is this energy system?  What is its purpose?  The energy system is real and has been recognized since ancient times as a vital tool for overall healing and balance.

Everything that is alive pulsates with energy.  This is measured with scientific tools.  We are energy beings and that flow does not stop at our skin.  In fact, there are instruments that measure the frequency of energy around our body.  Scientists refer to this as the biofield.  We may know it as our aura.  There are various layers of our field that carry information and is affected by our thoughts, emotions, actions and more.

Another component of our energy system are the energy centers or chakras.  Chakra is an ancient word known as whirling wheel of light.  There are 7 major centers or chakras.  Each center correlates with a color and a gland of the body.  Let’s begin at the Root Center located at the base of the body.  The vibrational frequency of this center produces the color red.  It is associated with the adrenal glands and the function of survival – fight or flight.  It is about being grounded to this earth.

Next, the Sacral Center is located below the navel and correlates with the color orange.  It is connected with the gonads and the function is about creativity.

The Solar Plexus Center is at the upper abdomen and the color is yellow.  It is associated with the pancreas and the function correlates with our ego.

The Heart Center is in the middle of the sternum or breast bone and the color is green. It is connected to the thymus gland and is about love and relationships.

The Throat Center at the base of the neck is associated with the color blue and the thyroid gland.  It is about speaking your truth.

The Brow Center is located in the middle of the forehead with the color of indigo and relates to the pituitary gland.  The function is about your calling or path in life.

The Crown Center is located at the top of the head and the color is violet.  It correlates with the pineal gland and is about your connection to your Higher Source.

If you are having concerns with a specific area of your body, such as stomach issues or frequent sore throats.  Review the meaning of that center and how you might change the frequency.  Look at the color and integrate it into your life, ie., what you wear, the color of the food you eat.  Color has frequency and it can bring balance and harmony to your energy system.
