Intuition: Do You Listen to Yours?

I’m fascinated by intuition, sometimes called a “gut feeling”, “sixth sense”, “inner knowing”, “a still quiet inner voice” or “instinct.” Many of us realize our intuition only in hindsight. I’ll bet you have had that experience when something happens and you think to yourself, “I knew that was going to happen.”

Sometimes it’s hard to listen because the information received is contrary to our common sense. For example, several years ago I had a kidney infection and when I was done with the antibiotic, I was about to throw away the empty pill bottle when I thought that maybe I should keep it. “NO, why should I? It’ll just be taking up space in the cupboard.” So out it went into the garbage. Five days later I relapsed and was taken to the Emergency Room, in the middle of the night. The Doctor there wanted to know the name of the prescription I had been on…duh! It started with an “L” I think….I knew I shouldn’t have thrown that out!

This month we feature America’s Leading Expert on Intuition, Lynn Robinson. Lynn is an Author, Speaker and Intuitive Advisor who helps people make changes and achieve their goals – both personally and professionally – by following their intuition. I’ve known Lynn for about 15 years, have enjoyed her books, heard her speak and benefited from her intuitive guidance. I know you are going to enjoy our article, where Lynn offers some tips. She also has a free gift that I encourage you to get today!

This month we are adding two new columns that you can look forward to each month. The first is a quick book recommendation column (if you have a book that you’d like to have us review, please let me know) and the second is a new feature column called Reinvention Uncensored, where I interview someone who has made a transformation of some type. The interview will also be available as part of the Soar to Success podcast.

Enjoy all the articles in this issue and don’t forget to take advantage of the links provided.
