The overabundance of sugar intake is an epidemic. It effects our current and future generations. Sugar is connected to a growing list of health and wellness concerns, including diabetes. In America, more than 29 MILLION people have diabetes, and 1 in 4 do not even know it. This is shocking!

If you or someone you know indulges in too much sugar, start to improve performance of your body and mind without the sugar crutch.

Weight Management.  Naturally improve your body with healthy options.

Too much sugar leads to unhealthy body and weight concerns.  Although diabetes isn’t the only concern with being overweight, statistics are staggering. 15 to 30 percent of people with prediabetes will develop type 2 diabetes within five years.  This is an extremely important topic because diabetes may lead to stroke, heart disease, kidney failure, blindness and loss of toes, feet and other diseases.

The single best predictor of Type 2 diabetes is being overweight. This is higher than age, race, pregnancy, genetics, family history and certain medications. I realize how difficult weight loss can be.  And you are worth it!

Friends, workout routines, food diaries and portion control are important types of weight loss support. Another support you may not have thought about are essential oils. Yes – they can help you physically, mentally and emotionally with living a healthy life.

My favorite to beat sugar cravings is Slim & Sassy. This is a metabolic blend, containing essential oils to boost metabolism, manage hunger and support healthy sugar levels. It tastes AMAZING! I add a drop to a glass of water or a drop to coconut oil and rub over my tummy, or feet. Combine this with a whole wellness routine, including healthy eating, exercise and healthcare check-ups.

Stress Reduction.  Naturally support your mind by creating new, healthy stress relief habits.

When you stress, blood sugar naturally rises.  Stress hormones like epinephrine and cortisol kick in to boost energy when you need it, which also raises blood sugar. Therefore, adding even more sugar gives you a double boost. Instead of more sugar, try some of my favorite FREE stress reduction tools.

  • Meditation
  • Laughter
  • Music
  • Nature
  • Deep Breathing

Another way to decrease stress and support the mind is Frankincense essential oil. Use it topically (diluted with a carrier oil) at the base of the head, neck, down the spine or bottom of the feet. Another effective idea is to diffuse it into the air. Breathe in goodness, let go of the rest.
